Al Ain board member revealed that Ryan Babel never wanted to play for them

Al Ain board member, Mohammed Obeid Hamdoun told the media that he felt that Ryan Babel did not really like the idea to play for the team and that he did not show any sign of commitments to the club.

It is believed that the former Liverpool player will be leaving soon for Turkey.

Ryan Babel has had disciplinary issues with the team regarding the use of social media. He has not played for the team since the end of 2015, but he is currently under contract until 2017. Mohammed Obeid Hamdoun will be hoping that they can find an agreement to terminate the contract and allow Babel to leave.

The Al Ain board member suggested that Ryan Babel might be going to Fenerbahce with the Turkish side showing signs that they might be interested in signing the player. He said that he is disappointed that it did not work out with Babel but admitted that this is a normal thing in football. He feels that that Babel could not adapt to the league and that he will be better off playing elsewhere.

This will allow them to recruit other players that might bring a more positive contribution to the team. It is believed that Al Ain might be interested in signing Danilo Asprilla as well as Brazilian striker Douglas. Al Ain will be hoping that these players will show evidence of commitment and that they will give their best to help the team reached its objectives.

Al Ain do not have a problem with Ryan Babel since it is believed that another foreign player, Emmanuel Emenike might also be leaving the club for Turkey. Again Hamdoun was quoted as saying that Emenike also was not fully committed to the team.
