Former Everton manager Ronald Koeman has been appointed as the new manager of the Netherlands men’s national football side. The Former Dutch international was sacked by the Toffees in October following a poor start to the new season despite huge expenses in transfers.
Koeman, who has been without a job since then, accepted to manage the Netherlands national team. He signed a four and a half year contract, meaning he would oversee the Euro 2020 and World Cup 2022. He replaces Dick Advocaat who failed to guide the team to qualify for the forthcoming World Cup.
