LIVERPOOL POISED TO MAKE MILLIONS FROM EX-PLAYER THEY BOUGHT BELOW £100K

Liverpool are set to make a hefty profit from a player they had bought for less than £100,000 if youngster Ki-Jana Hoever makes his move to Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven permenant. Liverpool are set to make a hefty profit from a player they had bought for less than £100,000. When forward Diogo Jota joined the Reds from Wolves two years ago for an initial £41million, it saw academy footballer Ki-Jana Hoever go in the opposite direction to Molineux for £9 million.

The Dutch international has struggled to find form under coach Bruno Lage and reports over the summer have made it apparent that the Midlands side would be willing to sell Hoever for the ‘right price’. As per the deal with Liverpool, it is believed that Wolves would have to pay their rivals 15% of the profit earn if he leaves for a price of more than £9million – including add-ons. PSV Eindhoven currently have the 20-year-old defender on loan and he has made four league outings so far this season – and if the move was made permanent and a price was agreed above the amount that Wolves paid for him, Jurgen Klopp’s side could receive a handsome fee.
