Liverpool Makes Two More Signings

Liverpool has been going through a busy summer transfer window as they have already signed Emre Can from Bayer Leverkusen and Rickie Lambert who made his way from Southampton.

Emre Can is expected to be officially unveiled as a Liverpool player on July 1 when all of the paperwork is finalized but the 20 year old German midfielder performer has already signed a deal with the side of Brendan Rodgers. Even at his young age, some people already are comparing him to Bastian Schweinsteiger because of his similar playing style.

Liverpool said: “Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle with Bayer Leverkusen to sign 20-year-old Emre Can, subject to documentation being completed.”

Brendan Rodgers is trying to work fast in order to secure the services of all his summer targets before any of his rivals try to sneak in and steal any player away from him. Adam Lallana is another player who remains on the radar of Rodgers as the club has already launched an offer of €25 million for the teammate of Rickie Lambert of Southampton.

During the previous season Liverpool was one of the clubs which scored most goals in the Premier League as they scored 101 goals but at the same time they also conceded 50 goals, which is the highest amount out of the top 5 clubs of the English and Rodgers wants to strengthen that department of the squad with Alberto Moreno being one of his top targets.

Alberto Moreno is a young defender which plays for Sevilla and Liverpool is prepared to launch an offer in the region of €15 million but the Spanish club will only let him go for a higher price which means that unless Liverpool is willing to go deep in their pockets to sign Moreno they have to search around in the transfer market for someone who is more financially available.
